In May, I completed my MFA coursework at Wake Forest a year ahead of schedule. This summer, I will wrap up my thesis film and gear up for a new job starting in September.

On Wednesday, I officially accepted a video fellowship position at The Players’ Tribune. I will work with the branded content team; writing and producing sports stories for digital distribution.

I am thrilled to join The Players’ Tribune. They are, in my mind, the most innovative platform in sports media. Since Derek Jeter founded the company in 2014, The Players’ Tribune has sought to tell original stories from an athlete’s perspective. Superstars from Stephan Curry to Megan Rapinoe have penned articles to share personal news, political beliefs, or untold stories. TPT has disrupted the traditional sports media space and critics agree that the site has bright future. In 2018, just four years after launching, TPT received the Webby Award for best sports website, beating Sports Illustrated, ESPN: The Undefeated, and Bleacher Report.

I could not be more excited to start my professional career with this soaring company. Thanks to all who have supported me along the way!
